What we collect, and only when you send it
What you send when you claim a listing
Stored so a person can check that you are who you say you are before handing you control of a listing. The fields are claim_requests.claimant_name, claim_requests.claimant_email, claim_requests.claimant_phone, claim_requests.relationship.
What you send when you report a correction or ask for a removal
Stored so we can tell you what we decided, and it is optional — leave it out and the report still counts. The fields are corrections.submitter_email.
Mail we send you
Stored so that whether we replied to you is answerable by looking, including when the send failed. The fields are email_log.recipient, email_log.template, email_log.outcome.
Signing in
Stored for the staff accounts that review reports; public registration is closed and returns a 404. The fields are users.email, users.display_name, user_passwords.password_hash, sessions.user_id, login_attempts.email.
One field we do not describe above: clubs.contact_email
a club's own published contact address, not anything a visitor sends us. The clubs table has no rows and no code path writes to it, so nothing has ever been stored in this column. If club pages ship, this line becomes a category above rather than an exception here.
Every table listed above is empty today. Nobody has claimed a listing, nobody has sent a correction, and no account exists — so this notice describes what we would hold if you used the site, not what we are holding.
Cookies
Two cookies, and only one of them is ours. floot_built_app_session is set when someone signs in; it is HttpOnly and Secure, so no script can read it. session-id is set on your first page view whether you sign in or not: it is a random identifier with a thirty-minute life, it is written by the platform script described below rather than by us, and because a script sets it, it is not HttpOnly.
Who else sees anything
- Google Places, which we query with venue names and street addresses to get coordinates. It never receives anything about you.
- Floot, which hosts the site, stores the database, sends our mail, and — through the script described below — receives one record per page view.
We do not sell personal information, and nobody receives it except the two companies named above.
Analytics
CourtLine has added no analytics of its own. There is no pixel, no tag manager, no A/B testing tool, and no product of ours that watches what you read.
There is one third-party script, and we did not write it: Floot, the platform this site is built and hosted on, serves https://floot.com/t.js on every page. On each page view it sends Floot the path you are on, the page you came from, your browser's user-agent string, its language, a country worked out from its time zone, and the session-id described above. It reports to Floot rather than to us: no code on this site reads any of it back, and no table in our database holds it.
Getting it deleted
To have something you sent us deleted, use the corrections page and say so.
